George's first major came his first weekend shown at nine months of age, fittingly under judge Linda More, who continued to award this dog through the years.

His first Specialty Best in Sweepstakes followed just two weeks later, under Dr. Paul B. Averill. He won the sweeps the following day at the second specialty as well!

Later that summer, while still in the 12-18 class, George was Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Winners at the prestigious Eastern English Springer Spaniel Club Specialty, winning his first five point specialty major under Linda More!

In the fall, George won his second five point Specialty major at the English Springer Spaniel Club of Michigan Specialty and was also Puppy of the Year in the Invitational Extravaganza.

George's third 5 point Specialty major came at the Twin Cities Voyager English Springer Spaniel Association under Dr. Donald Sturz, Jr. This win completed his Ch title.

George closed out his show career with an amazing weekend in California at the prestigious Del Valle KC by winning his 42nd Specialty, two Groups Firsts and a Reserve BIS in a lineup that included some of the top dogs in the nation. And he did this all at nine years of age!

The judge pictured here is Dr Donald Sturz, Jr. Dr Sturz was the judge who gave George his third five point specialty major to finish his title. It was seven years before Dr Sturz judged George again and when he did he awarded George this amazing Reserve Best in Show at nine years of age amongst the country's top show dogs.
